Mario Tavera is an engineer graduated at Politecnico of Milan (Italy) and he also holds a Master's degree in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering, one in Project Management and a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from the Politecnica of Valencia (Spain). He has over 19 years of experience in the water sector, water resources management, business development and project management. He has led and participated in projects in Latin America and the Caribbean related to the water sector, its governance and on all technical and commercial aspects related to the efficiency improvement of water supply systems. Some of the countries where he has worked: Italy, Spain, Peru, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico and the Bahamas. He is working in the NRW Project Reduction in the Bahamas since 2013 and since 2018 as a Project Manager.
