Global Product Manager - Electromagnetic Flowmeter - Water Industry
Joydip is the Global Product Manager for ABB. Joydip took this role in early 2015 and is responsible for managing a portfolio of Electromagnetic flow metering products across the complete water cycle - from abstraction and treatment through to metering, distribution and waste water. Prior to this, Joydip was the R&D Program Manager for ABB and responsible for product development of analytical instruments for Continuous Water Analysis and Combustion Gas Analysis. Joydip started his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer for pressure equipment in Chemical and Oil & Gas industries. Outside work, Joydip advocates for issues like access to clean water, food security and science and engineering education. Joydip a Charted Engineer and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, holds M.Sc(Eng) in Product Design and Management and B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering. He received the Young Achievement award from the North East Process Industry Custer) and Young Ambassador Award from the Chemical Industries Association. From 2011 to 2013, Joydip was the Vice Chair in the Young Members Board at Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
